Introduction
Reson Tech LLC ("ResonTech", "we", "us", or "our") operates the GPU Training-as-a-Service platform at reson.tech. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service. Please read this policy carefully.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
- Account information: name, email address, organization name
- Billing information: payment method details (processed securely via third-party payment providers)
- Communications: messages, support requests, and feedback you send us
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Usage data: API calls, job submissions, compute usage, and billing events
- Log data: IP addresses, browser type, operating system, and request timestamps
- Error reports: when something breaks, technical details of the failure (error message, stack trace, page, browser, and your account ID) so we can fix it
- Cookies and similar technologies, described in Section 6
1.3 Product Analytics and Session Recordings (only with your consent)
If you accept analytics cookies, we record how the website and console are used: pages you view, buttons and features you use, steps you complete or abandon, your device and browser type, and an approximate location derived from your IP address. These events are linked to a pseudonymous identifier and, once you sign in, to your account ID.
With the same consent we may record sessions — a replay of how you moved through a page — to find where people get stuck. Everything you type is masked, and code editors, chat, and model input and output areas are excluded from recordings.
We never send your email address, name, passwords, API keys, file names or contents, prompts, model inputs or outputs, or payment details to our analytics provider. If you decline, we count page visits only in aggregate, without cookies and without identifying you.
1.4 Training Data & Model Artifacts
We process training datasets, scripts, configurations, and model outputs you submit to run your jobs. This data is processed solely to execute your workloads and is not accessed for any other purpose.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, operate, and improve the Service
- To process payments and manage billing
- To communicate with you about your account, jobs, and updates
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
- To comply with legal obligations
- To detect, diagnose, and fix errors in the Service (error monitoring)
- With your consent, to understand how the website and console are used and where users run into problems, so we can improve them (product analytics and session recordings)
Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, we rely on: performance of our contract with you (to provide the Service and process payments); your consent (analytics cookies and session recordings — you can withdraw it at any time); our legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, error monitoring, and keeping the Service reliable); and legal obligations (for example, keeping billing records).
4. Data Retention
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Training data, job artifacts, and associated files are retained for the duration specified in your service plan and deleted thereafter. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 7).
- Product analytics events: up to 12 months
- Session recordings: up to 30 days
- Error reports: up to 90 days
- Billing records: as long as required by tax and accounting law
5. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest, access controls, and regular security audits. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Request deletion of your personal data
- Object to or restrict certain processing activities
- Request data portability in a machine-readable format
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent (for analytics, use Cookie settings)
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at office@reson.tech. We will respond within 30 days.
8. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal data, we will delete it promptly.
9. International Data Transfers
Your information may be processed and stored in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to these countries, which may have different data protection laws than your jurisdiction. Product analytics, session recordings, and error reports are stored in the European Union.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes via email or prominent in-app notice at least 14 days before the changes take effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
