Cookie Policy
Last updated: March 20, 2026 · Effective: February 2, 2026
What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, function more efficiently, and to provide information to site operators. Cookies may be "session" cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or "persistent" cookies (remaining on your device for a set period or until you delete them).
Similar technologies such as web beacons, pixels, and local storage may also be used by the ResonTech platform for equivalent purposes and are covered by this policy.
Types We Use
ResonTech uses two categories of cookies: Essential and Analytics. We do not use advertising, tracking, or profiling cookies of any kind, and we do not share cookie data with ad networks or data brokers.
Essential Cookies
Essential cookies are strictly necessary for the platform to operate. Without them, services such as authentication, session continuity, and API access cannot function. These cookies cannot be disabled while using the Service.
Examples of what essential cookies enable:
- Authentication tokens — keep you logged in across page loads and API requests
- CSRF protection — prevent cross-site request forgery attacks on form submissions
- Session state — maintain your preferences and active job context during a session
- Rate-limit identifiers — used server-side to enforce fair-use policies
These cookies are first-party, set directly by reson.tech, and are never shared with external parties for any purpose other than delivering the Service.
Analytics Cookies
Analytics cookies help us understand aggregate usage patterns — which features are popular, where users encounter friction, and how performance varies across regions. This information guides product improvements and infrastructure decisions.
Our analytics setup is designed with privacy in mind:
- Data is anonymized and aggregated before any analysis is performed
- No personally identifiable information is included in analytics reports
- IP addresses are truncated and never stored in full
- We do not build individual user profiles or behavioral fingerprints
- Retention of raw analytics events is limited to 90 days
You may opt out of analytics cookies at any time via your browser settings or by contacting us. Opting out does not affect your ability to use the platform.
How To Control Them
You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Most modern browsers allow you to view, delete, and block cookies on a per-site or global basis. Common options include:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Cookies and site data
Please note that blocking essential cookies will prevent you from logging in and using the platform. Blocking analytics cookies has no functional impact on your experience.
You may also opt out of analytics by contacting us at office@reson.tech with the subject line "Cookie Opt-Out".
Third Parties
ResonTech does not permit third-party advertising or tracking cookies on the platform. However, certain integrated services may set their own cookies in limited circumstances:
- Payment processors — when you interact with a payment form, the processor may set cookies necessary to complete the transaction securely. These are governed by the processor's own privacy and cookie policy.
- Embedded documentation — if you access third-party hosted documentation linked from the platform, those providers may set their own cookies subject to their policies.
We have no control over third-party cookies and recommend reviewing the relevant provider's cookie policy for details. ResonTech does not receive or process data from third-party cookies.
Updates
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in technology, regulation, or our practices. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and notify registered users via email at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
Continued use of the platform after the effective date of any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Cookie Policy.
