Permitted Use

The ResonTech platform is provided for legitimate machine learning research, development, and production workloads. Permitted uses include:

  • Training, fine-tuning, and evaluating machine learning models for lawful commercial or research purposes
  • Processing datasets that you own, have licensed, or have obtained rights to use
  • Integrating the ResonTech API into your own products and services in accordance with our Terms
  • Running benchmarks and performance tests against your own workloads and environments
  • Collaborating with team members within a shared organization account as provisioned

Any use not explicitly listed here must be consistent with the spirit of this policy and our Terms & Conditions. When in doubt, contact us before proceeding.

Prohibited Use

The following activities are strictly prohibited on the ResonTech platform. Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination without notice or refund.

1. Weapons & Harmful Systems

Training, fine-tuning, or otherwise developing models intended to assist in the design, production, deployment, or targeting of weapons — including conventional weapons, biological agents, chemical agents, radiological devices, cyberweapons, or autonomous lethal systems — is strictly prohibited.

2. Malware & Offensive Cyber Capabilities

Using the platform to train models for generating, improving, or deploying malware, ransomware, spyware, exploits, or any software designed to damage, compromise, or gain unauthorized access to systems or data is prohibited.

3. Unauthorized Data Scraping

Scraping, crawling, harvesting, or otherwise collecting data from third-party websites, services, or APIs in violation of their terms of service, and using that data as training input on our platform, is prohibited. You are responsible for ensuring that all data you submit carries the necessary rights and licenses.

4. Account Sharing & Resale

Sharing account credentials with individuals outside your authorized organization, sublicensing, reselling, or otherwise providing third parties with access to the platform under your account without explicit prior written consent from Reson Tech LLC is prohibited.

5. Circumvention of Platform Controls

Attempting to bypass, disable, or circumvent any rate limits, access controls, authentication mechanisms, usage quotas, security features, or other technical safeguards of the platform is prohibited.

6. Illegal or Infringing Content

Submitting training data or generating model outputs that constitute, reproduce, or facilitate illegal content — including but not limited to child sexual abuse material (CSAM), material that infringes copyrights or trademarks, or content that violates applicable privacy laws — is strictly prohibited and will be reported to relevant authorities.

7. Disinformation & Synthetic Manipulation

Training models with the primary intent of generating disinformation, fabricated news, synthetic media designed to deceive (deepfakes), or coordinated inauthentic content at scale is prohibited.

8. Unauthorized Security Testing

Conducting penetration tests, vulnerability scans, stress tests, or any form of security assessment against ResonTech infrastructure, systems, or other customers' workloads without prior explicit written authorization from Reson Tech LLC is prohibited.

9. Export Control Violations

Using the platform in a manner that violates applicable export control laws and regulations, including the U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), or providing access to the Service to sanctioned persons or entities, is prohibited.

10. Platform Abuse & Resource Misuse

Deliberately consuming excessive compute resources beyond your provisioned allocation to degrade service quality for other users, submitting workloads containing intentionally corrupted or adversarial inputs designed to destabilize infrastructure, or any other action taken in bad faith to harm the platform or its users is prohibited.

Enforcement

Reson Tech LLC reserves the right to investigate any suspected violation of this Acceptable Use Policy. Upon determining that a violation has occurred or is likely occurring, we may take any or all of the following actions at our sole discretion:

  • Issue a written warning to the account holder
  • Temporarily suspend access to some or all platform features
  • Terminate the account and all associated data immediately without refund
  • Preserve and disclose relevant data to law enforcement or regulatory authorities as required by law
  • Pursue civil or criminal remedies to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law

We will not be liable to you for any losses arising from enforcement actions taken in response to violations of this policy. Enforcement decisions are final. If you believe an enforcement action was taken in error, contact us at office@reson.tech to submit a written appeal.
